I’m about two-thirds of the way through, and every time i think i can’t get more annoyed, Jinks proves me wrong.

This review has been hidden because catheeine contains spoilers. He’s a good hacker, but there’s only a couple of times he gets the opportunity to show this off in this book; most of his caretakers are trying to keep him off technology so he doesn’t get found by Prosper or cause havoc online.

While Cadel thought he had taken charge of his life it was actually Propser pulling strings and seeing his wonderfully laid out plan come to fruition. Unlike in the first book, which actually portrayed Sonja as a somewhat complex character, in this book she is, as bruin trouble brilliantly pointed out, “the sum of her spastic limbs.
His style puts him in conflict with Cadel’s social worker, Fiona Currey. Catherine has been writing books since she was eight years old. A villain training school is a neat concept, but now Cadel has switched sides and is trying to take down jjinks villains.
I feel like it has a great depth of emotional realism. Not Fiona, his social cathdrine not Saul Greeniaus, the detective assigned to protect him. What I like most about Jins Squad is that, just like Evil Genius, it is an intelligent book about an intelligent kid.
And humor abounds, whether it’s Lexi’s wild stunts or Cadel’s penchant for cross-dressing whenever he needs a disguise.
This book was just as great as the first book “Evil Genius” but in a different way. Those adults didn’t want me to tear my hair out, but they did make me a little hesitant to like them. More books by this author More books in this series.
There’s a lot of technical stuff in these books, and catheeine can be difficult to follow these cyber attacks, people manipulations, and spying. I can only hope he maintains his good characterization; villains tend to fall flat during the final encounter in most books I’ve read; the more sadistic they are, the worse they turn out in the end.
Not only because of the chase but because you come to appreciate just where Cadel has learnt his jjnks ways from. Where did she go?
The book had a good ending, but it left you in the dark about some things.
