Take this book for example, it’s not exactly one of my favorite books of all time but I have to admit I didn’t hate it, I actually enjoyed it until a certain point, ergo the 3 star rating.
I really liked the bxltagul few chapters.
Since I enjoy detective books this one was a pretty good read. I recommend it if you don’t have anything better to read and I say this because it was a book from school and almost everyone agrees that those are not really the best books in the world.
The only thing that kinda saved it were the characters and their backstories and development but beside that just some meh moments. A shepherd’s wife from Northern Moldavia goes looking for her missing husband, discovers he has been murdered, investigates and discovers the perpetrators. Baltagjl read this in junior high-school.
It was compulsory reading for the high-school admission exam. Would I re-read it today? Ca si restul care au citit-o: Nu e o carte foarte rea sau plictisitoare,dar nici nu se compara cu romanele politiste citite de mine deobice.
Nu m-a uimit,nici nu m-a dezamagit. Au fost descrieri lungi,care de multe ori ma plictiseau. I-am dat 3 stele ,cartea a fost ok. Dec 15, Julien M. A good mystery baltgul, obviously better the first time you read it but only because you know what’s going on after that point, even if you forget or miss some details; still an enjoyable read even the second time and a welcomed genre change in Romanian literature.

Mihail Sadoveanu was a Romanian novelist, short story writer, journalist and political figure, who twice served as acting head of state for the communist republic — and He is the most prolific novelist in Romanian literature and one of the most accomplished.
All his major work, however, was written before the political changes in Romania following World War II.
